A Shrewdd week

Having completed a degree in Media and Marketing I assumed that my studies would well prepare me for working in the marketing profession. However, on my first day, I realised how much I’d be taking on, proving I had a lot to learn about working in B2B marketing. Nevertheless, I was excited to learn about the industry and felt positive about my new job role

Nevertheless, I was excited to learn about the industry and felt positive about my new job role as a Junior PR and Social Media Executive at Shrewdd Marketing.

Throughout the week I had the opportunity to sit down with each member of the close-knit team, to learn more about their roles in the company. I gained an understanding of how the company operates and the magic behind delivering engaging campaigns. Moreover, it became clear that these B2B marketers really know their stuff.

In addition to educating me on B2B marketing, the team have welcomed me with open arms. By offering me endless cups of tea (and biscuits), involving me in conversations and checking I’m comfortable with my given tasks, I’ve been able to settle in easily.

Although I still have a lot to learn about the industry, my first week at Shrewdd has really opened my eyes to the world of B2B marketing. Despite being a beginner in the business I am certain that being part of the Shrewdd team will allow me to progress as a B2B marketer.
